Continuing Personal or Professional Development - is the term that describes a commitment to structured skills enhancement and personal or professional competence. Capturing and recording Continuous Professional Development (CPD) system that enables the development of suitably qualified and experienced personnel is a key activity for any progressive enterprise. The NEF has developed approached and established relationships with professional and awarding bodies that will ensure an effective solution is delivered for your organisation. Such a solution will include amongst others the following services:

• Identifying and implementing a common process for capturing CPD;
• Implementing and/or augmenting the recording processes of CPD with existing systems;
• Liaising with the relevant Sector Skills Council(s) to ensure the experiential requirements of the sector roles are included within the new Job Contexts and aligned with the Qualifications Credit Framework where possible;
• Engaging the appropriate Professional Institutions and Councils to align with their existing CPD methodologies and professional recognition systems.
